Our staff is reading through the book, PRIMAL, by Mark Batterson. He also wrote another book we went through last year that we’re still talking about: The Wild Goose Chase. In this book (PRIMAL) I just came across a powerful picture of prayer.

On March 1, 2007 we were truly blessed to have a very special family come to Community. They didn’t get to move here right away, but I’m so glad they commuted for a while!!!

Is what’s convenient for me...best for me?
Having read through the book of Acts dozens and dozens of times, I am always stopped when I get to chapter 24. It haunts me. Usually I think of others who need to listen to what God has to say, but put Him off. Today...it was ME.

TOGETHER!
Unfortunately, the CHURCH has been battered and bruised down through the years from within. Fights and arguments, selfish agendas and petty missions have derailed the CHURCH from it’s focus and power. But with all of the trouble...there are some bright spots. I think our valley is one of them.
