The power of these two verses is so important, I want you to soak it up.
While invited to be a part of a special wedding on the coast this weekend, Michelle and I took advantage of it and got away for a few days. We were blessed by attending another church on Sunday, but ALWAYS miss our family here at Community. We were both seriously encouraged when these words showed up on my Facebook page from Casie Husby.

We just made a change and people are raving about it. All we did was change the coffee in our cafe, but the result is way more than just better tasting coffee.
It’s great to hear someone’s success story. We can be encouraged and inspired as they tell their tale. However, there’s something really amazing when someone shares their pain. We connect.
Don’t be afraid to be real and share your pain, it may be just the thing someone needs in order to relate to you in a real way.

For those of you who walked through the book of Matthew throughout this past month, I want to encourage you to keep going. The next book in our New Testament is Mark.

So much of the mission of the church is summed up in one tiny little word: GO. Jesus has died, risen from the dead and now spent 40 days with His disciples. Finally, at the end of Matthew 28 He’s ready to go back to the Father. His last words are what we call the Great Commission.
