Easter weekend is always special, always energizing, and always a great opportunity to invite people. Here are just a few things to consider as you reach out to your friends and family this week.

1. Pray…Ask God to prepare their heart for this invitation. Watch for the opportunity He provides.
2. Be positive…Have you ever heard someone say, “You don’t want to come to church with me do you?” Wow, that’s so inspiring. NOT! Just know this, it’s going to be a great experience for them. The message and the service are designed with people like your friend in mind.
3. Invite cards…We still have some more invite cards if you run out. Just swing by the office this week and grab a handful.
4. Meet them outside…It’s actually best if you can pick them up at their house. Walking into a church building for the first time can be pretty intimidating. So, at the very least, arrange to meet them outside at the café. Then you can go in together.
5. Food…Why not plan ahead of time to go out after the service. That way you can listen to them and get some immediate feedback. They may have questions or comments that will help you know better how to help them in their journey toward Christ.
6. Pray…Please be in prayer all week for our children’s ministry team, tech and praise teams, host team, and all who will have a part in this weekend’s worship experience. Also, please be praying for me as I work on what God wants to say to everyone this Easter.
This is going to be awesome!
