Persecution around the world is very real and very harsh. I heard last night that a pastor in India was tied up and had to watch his wife get stripped and raped by 10 men. How would you react?
Could you forgive? Could you love them? Could you care about their souls?
This pastor excitedly told a friend that he was privileged to BAPTIZE FOUR OF THE MEN that had raped his wife! He said they are now his BROTHERS in Christ!!!
The men who did this were Hindu extremists. We know what Hindu or Islamic extremists are capable of...but only a CHRISTIAN EXTREMIST could love like that...forgive like that...extend grace like that!!!
I know that anything labeled "extremist" is usually not good. But, who wants to be a Christian Extremist like this Pastor from India!?!?! I DO!

LORD, thank You for the stretching that You've been able to do in me throughout the years. i'm sorry for the fight i still put up sometimes... please humble me more - if you would just get me to "useful" so that whatever time i have left in this life can be used to have an impact for You - just like this brother in India.

I have been the bible using the One Year Plan and this past few weeks I have been reading in the book of Acts. I am in awe of how Paul dealt with his adversaries. They beat him, flooged hom and put him into prison and he still looked up rather than down. He was an Extreme Christian. I want to be like Paul which in turn is to be like Jesus Christ.
