Planning ahead...need your help

Starting next September we’ll be heading into a whole new season of ministry. Sure we’ll be opening our West Campus at Tahquitz High School in October, but I’m also thinking of our theme and teaching series ideas for the year.

We already have our theme idea for our next season, but I’m going to save that for another time.

It’s funny…we’ve got a huge month coming up with all kinds of things going on. We’re still smack dab in the middle of our IN HOT PURSUIT theme for this season, but that doesn’t change the reality of our need to be planning ahead for next fall. So, with part of my brain in the present and part of it in the future…and part of it somewhere else… I’m requesting your help.

I’d love to hear from you on some things we could be teaching this next year. So…you know the drill. Post your comment on the site. Your ideas may generate more ideas.

What would you like to see us teach on during our next season?

I'm not sure if there is such a thing but I would like to see a bible study for beginners. I'm 48 and want to live and breath in Gods word but the Bible studies I have gone to have been overwhelming. I just don't know enough about what they are talking about and get discouraged.

    Thank you for listening.

a subject that usually gathers attention would be:

'The Natual Conflict Between Natural Man and Spiritual Man'

PS.1:1-6 sets apart the two 'duelest' quite well

2 COR. 2:14-17 the basic conflict and great challenge

deep seated and difficult to root out!!

This subject covers everyone/anyone who sets in........

Hey John - what about a series on Holiness. God asks us to be holy because He is holy. What does that look like in todays world? What does it mean for the church and for each of us personaly? How does one become holy without total seperation?

    John,

My idea is to learn Bibilical princples on how to give God full control of every area of our lives (marriage, kids, career, frienship, money, sex...) and call it:

    IN HIS CONTROL
