Have you ever had that feeling that what has been working for a long time is now needing to change? Maybe it’s the way you parent your kids, but they’re older now. Maybe it’s a new project at work and old solutions are not going to get the job done. Maybe it’s simply personal…what you’ve been doing is no longer getting you where you need to be.
As awkward as that feeling can be at different times and different stages of our lives…I LOVE IT! There’s something about being stretched and trying new things that invigorates me. Don’t get me wrong, it’s more comfortable doing things the same way I have always done them, but that can be boring.
I feel like God is stretching me in many ways right now…and I’m having the time of my life! I’m coming to grips with words like: ADVENTURE and CHALLENGE. What about you? How is God moving and leading and STRETCHING YOU???
Remember this: whatever the challenge and no matter how it stretches you, GOD IS STILL FAITHFUL! He never changes!!

How is God stretching me??? Staying up until 2 am with third and fourth grade girls at Cal Baptist..meeting other Kid Ministry volunteers/staff and holding tight to how to be a "good Christian" and not a bad example for the kids..loving every second of it all, since the light in that one pair of eyes sparkles now that they see the connection between the words we use daily and THE WORD of God!
