Jesus’ words in Matthew 5 remind us of our partnership with Him in bringing hope and light to a dark world. We can be that light when we invest in people. In fact, there is no better use of our time, abilities, money or our own story and experiences than to invest them in people.
With a closer look at Luke 15 and the story of the Lost Son, we get to see how we should respond to people…whatever their background, problems or baggage. Jesus uses this story to remind people how much God (the Father) really cares about those who are far from Him.
