Loving God doesn’t actually start with us. Everything starts with His love for us. When we get that, we learn to respond to His love, not conjure up something we couldn’t possibly do on our own.
We’re living through an integrity meltdown. Honesty and integrity seem to be so seldom experienced; we’re not sure how to take it when someone is actually being truthful. What would happen if Christians were actually people of their word as well as being people of the Word?
There’s more than one way to steal and there’s more than one way to rob God of His honor and glory. Cheating on a test or stealing a candy bar may not seem as bad as stealing a car, but the affect is still the same. There’s a lot at stake here. Seriously.
It’s one thing to hand out condoms and talk “safe sex.” It’s a whole lot more important to talk about what sex, marriage and God’s plan for it all really mean.
When a basic and complete respect for life is missing, society is in chaos. From abortion to euthanasia our culture is at a loss because it doesn’t respect life. We need to not only have respect for life ourselves, but learn to teach this kind of respect where our society will actually get it.
The primary expression of respect is not only absent in our society, it’s missing in our homes. Children don’t honor their parents and many parents aren’t worthy of honor. It’s time to find out what needs to happen.

The quest for a great life, lived out on our terms and with our own plan, leads to exhaustion. However, following God’s plan, the pursuit of a great life leads to exhilaration!
We want desperately to shape God into images for our purposes. Images from our minds are gods we can manipulate. That is just not the case with God. In fact, He is the One in the “shaping” business.
God’s ethics teach us how to love. When we really love, we fulfill the whole concept of God’s commandments. In fact, “God is love,” so it makes total sense that His goal for us is exactly that: love.
